Year 6 Bodiam had an inspiring art trip to the South Bank today! 🧑‍🎨🚌 Studying Stephen Wiltshire’s incredible cityscapes, pupils sketched London’s skyline with focus and attention to detail. 🏙️🖊️✨ So proud of their creativity!

Year 2 Hever Class have had a brilliant day at Hever Castle, their class namesake. The children loved visiting the childhood home of Anne Boleyn! 🏰👑There were grand rooms, portraits & suits of armour, and stories of Henry VIII which all brought the Tudors to life 🛡️📜

Welcome to Year 6 – Bodiam Class!

In Bodiam Class, we stand tall in our final year at Harris Primary Academy Beckenham Green — just like the magnificent Bodiam Castle, which rises proudly from its wide, watery moat in the East Sussex countryside.

Built over 600 years ago to defend against invasion, Bodiam Castle is one of the most iconic and beautiful castles in England. With its soaring towers, hidden staircases, and strong stone walls, it symbolises courage, wisdom, and readiness — everything we aim to be in Year 6.

This is a year of challenge and achievement. We’ll push ourselves academically, develop leadership skills, and prepare for the exciting transition to secondary school. From mastering complex maths and refining our writing, to leading younger pupils and tackling SATs, we’ll do it all with determination, teamwork, and pride.

Like Bodiam Castle, we are ready to defend what matters, face challenges with resilience, and leave a legacy. Together, we’ll celebrate how far we’ve come and set our sights on all that lies ahead.
