Pupil Premium Spend Plans

We account specifically for the use of Pupil Premium funds. The money is allocated based on the number of children meeting the national criteria and lasts for 6 years. Included is the total number of:

  • Pupils eligible for free school meals – within the last 6 years
  • Looked after children (children in the care of a Local Authority)

At Beckenham Green, Pupil Premium funding is used to meet the needs of the individual children via bespoke teaching and learning programmes or related personal, social and emotional development activities. Enrichment opportunities are also offered including after-school club and squads.

Staff are committed to ensuring that all pupils progress well and are able to access high quality teaching and provision every day. We carefully track the academic progress of all children including children from disadvantaged backgrounds though provision maps and at pupil progress meetings every half term.  This enables staff to evaluate the impact of class and group teaching or intervention programmes, so we can adjust provision to support and stretch learning. That way, we can make sure we are having the desired impact on pupils’ learning and progress.
